Global Life Lessons: Annual Story Publishing Invitation
Each year, we proudly publish life lessons shared by individuals from around the world—translated into 80 languages—
and reward contributors generously for their inspiring stories.
From April 1st through October 31st, we invite anyone from anywhere to submit their true life lessons to mystory@globallifelessons.com.
Below are our strict guidelines and code of ethics that every contributor must follow for their story to be published
on our website and considered for inclusion in our annual pool publishing project.
Codes and Ethics for Annual Pool Publishing
Word Count Limit:
Your story must not exceed 5,000 words. Submissions that go beyond this limit will be disqualified, regardless of how good the content may be.
File Format Requirement:
Your entire story must be written using a simple Microsoft Word format and submitted as such. We do not accept any other file format.
Clarity and Positivity:
Life lessons must be easy to understand, positive, and encouraging. The key lesson must be clearly defined in the conclusion of your story.
Truthfulness:
Your story must be truthful, honest, and based entirely on a real-life experience. Fictional elements are not allowed.
Photo Requirement Upon Contact:
If you are contacted by us via email, your proposal must include a clear, passport-sized photo of yourself. This will be used for the book cover design and internal page design, as well as for video meeting confirmation.
Video Discussion:
You must agree to a brief video discussion, in which you explain your story prior to its publication.
Language Requirement:
Your entire story must be written in English, our primary language of communication. If you do not speak English, you may provide a translator to explain your story and ensure it is written in English.
Profit Allocation Agreement:
You must agree to allocate no less than 40% of the profit from your story’s presence on our website to our management and team. In appreciation for the hardwork our team does for publishing your stories into 80 languages we do not accept contributors who aren't appreciative of our work.
Post-Publication Interview:
You must be willing to participate in video interviews, which will be published on our social media platforms and website (www.globallifelessons.com) after your story is released.
Group Promotion Commitment:
If your story is selected, it will be compiled into a collective book with chapters featuring stories from other contributors. You and your fellow storytellers will be jointly responsible for promoting the book on social media.
Equal Opportunity Publishing:
No special treatment or selective consideration will be given based on your religion, interests, convictions, or morals. Your story will be published alongside the stories of others from diverse backgrounds—without prior approval or notification from you regarding fellow contributors.
Important Notice to All Life Lesson Contributors
We kindly ask all contributors to refrain from sending repeated proposals within the same submission cycle. Duplicate or repeated submissions within a single year will result in automatic disqualification of the contributor. This policy helps us maintain a fair, organized, and respectful review process for all.
At Global Life Lessons, we deeply value the virtue of patience. If you do not receive a response in a matter of weeks—or even months—please do not be alarmed or discouraged. Every submission is reviewed with care, and the absence of a quick reply does not reflect the quality or potential of your contribution.
Contributors are welcome to resubmit their proposals each year during the official submission period, which runs from April 1st through October 31st. Submitting the same life lesson contribution once per year for several consecutive years is perfectly acceptable and will never disqualify a contributor.
However, we respectfully ask that you do not send the same submission multiple times within a year. Thank you for your understanding and for being part of a global mission to share wisdom that can change lives.
Five (5) Years Terms of eBook Publishing with Global Life Lessons:
Once your eBook is launched on our platform, you agree to an exclusive 60-month (5-year) distribution period. During this time, we aim to help your book reach global audiences by translating and promoting it in up to 80 languages. After the 60-month period, assuming your book has gained popularity and we have had no issues with your compliance, you will become eligible to upload and sell your English version on any other platform of your choice. However, translated versions must remain exclusive to our platform and are not permitted for distribution elsewhere.
Exclusive Right Compliance Notice:
If we find your eBook—whether in digital, paperback, or hardcover format—on any other publishing platform before the completion of the 60-month exclusivity period, it will be considered a breach of our agreement. This will result in immediate termination of our partnership, and we reserve the legal right to take action. We invest in translating and promoting your book globally, and using our services to create and sell your book elsewhere during this protected period is a violation of our terms.
Invite Others to Share Their Stories:
You’re encouraged to invite friends, family members, and colleagues who have compelling life stories to write and submit their own English manuscripts. Each participant will be subject to the same 60-month exclusivity agreement and responsible for promoting their own eBook, which will also be translated into 80 languages under our program.
Post-Term Video Opportunity:
If there are no contractual issues throughout the 60-month term, your story may be transformed into a high-quality animated video in as many languages as our video team can support. These videos will be hosted on www.globallifelessons.com and made available for paid downloads in multiple languages, providing you with additional earning opportunities.
Monthly Royalties and Payments:
Based on the sales generated from your eBook in up to 80 languages, your monthly earnings will be calculated and transferred directly to your bank account, PayPal, or preferred payment method. These payments will be processed by our accounting department at the beginning of each new month.
